Maya VERHAAL

Hi there, I'm Maya Verhaal, a dual Mexico-U.S. citizen. I'm also an artist and an aspiring designer living in the beautiful and culturally significant city of New Orleans. My passions include playing the piano and cello, reading, drawing, filmmaking, skiing in the mountains of Idaho, and learning everything I can about the creative and artistic aspects of the world. I'm always working to create pieces that speak to people in unique and meaningful ways. I enjoy nothing more than helping others in any way that I can. Especially when it contributes to the community as a whole. You can usually find me exploring, traveling, and learning about different traditions and cultures and how I can apply them to my art.

 

 

Hola! Me llamo Maya Verhaal, y tengo la doble nacionalidad de México y Estados Unidos. Soy artista y sueño con ser diseñadora en la hermosa y llena de cultura ciudad de Nueva Orleans. Mis pasiones incluyen tocar el piano y el chelo; leer, dibujar, filmar y esquiar en las montañas de Idaho. También me gusta leer todo sobre los aspectos creativos y artísticos del mundo. Siempre estoy trabajando en crear piezas que hablan de la gente de manera única y con sentido. No hay nada que disfruto más que ayudar en lo que pueda a los demás. Especialmente cuando mi ayuda contribuye al bienestar de la comunidad. Generalmente me podrás encontrar explorando, viajando y leyendo de las diferentes tradiciones y culturas y como puedo imprimir mi arte en ellas.
